Dr. Magda Barsoum-Homsy specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus affecting both children and adults. Dr. Barsoum-Homsy is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained. She is internationally recognized as one of the leading Pediatric Ophthalmologist in the country and is a recipient of the Achievement Award from the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has been invited to be a guest lecturer abroad (Africa, Europe and Asia) and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. She has also contributed chapters to numerous medical text books. She is one of very few pediatric ophthalmologists on the West Coast of Florida with the experience and surgical skills to treat cataracts and glaucoma in children. She is Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida where she teaches residents the science and art of pediatric ophthalmology.

A native of Minnesota, Dr. Johnson has been providing comprehensive eye care for families in the Tampa Bay area for over 23 years. Dr. Johnson has the training and experience necessary to initiate diagnostic testing for virtually all eye and vision conditions, and treats patients with many eye diseases and abnormalities.
